Dear Collingswood & Oaklyn Families,
Closing or delaying schools is something we take very seriously. Ultimately, the safety of students and staff is our top priority.
Our Buildings and Ground Crew and the Borough Public Works Team have been working to clear the massive amount of snow and ice we received.
According to the National Weather Service, our region is under a Cold-Weather Advisory. Dangerously cold wind chills and or temperatures are expected for most of the week. Please use caution and wear appropriate clothing while traveling outside.
Due to anticipated icy conditions and out of an abundance of caution, all Collingswood and Oaklyn schools and offices will operate on a 2-hour delay on Tuesday, January 27th. Please refer to the Inclement Weather Page for additional information. (Colls) (Oaklyn)
We are continuing to monitor weather conditions and will keep you informed should there be any changes to the schedule.
Thank you for your attention.
Fred McDowell, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Schools
