Vaccine Clinic January 3, 2022

Dear Collingswood and Oaklyn School Communities

To ensure that students, families, staff, and community members are protected against COVID-19 as school is underway, the Collingswood Borough, the Collingswood School District, the Collingswood Education Association, and the NJ Department of Health will offer free COVID-19 vaccination on January 3rd, 2022 (3 pm - 8 pm)

As the school semester is underway, getting a COVID-19 vaccine this week will allow everyone enough time to receive a second dose and/or booster before the end of the school year, guaranteeing the best possible protection against COVID-19 and the highly transmissible Delta and Omicron variants.

Everyone, 5 years and older, is recommended to get a COVID-19 vaccine. COVID-19 vaccines are free regardless of insurance or immigration status.

A choice of four vaccines – Pfizer (both formulations for 12+ and children 5-11), Moderna (18+), and Johnson & Johnson (18+) will be available to accommodate families and staff who need first, second, or booster doses, in addition to students. Currently, only the Pfizer vaccine formulations are available to individuals 5-17 years of age.

Vaccination staff will be available at the school site to answer any questions. Vaccines will be provided by DocGo.

This vaccination event, in collaboration with the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH), will begin Monday, January 3rd, 2022 at 3 pm at the Collingswood High School Cafe on Eldridge Avenue.

Please Note: Additional staff will be on hand to vaccinate as many people as possible. If you prefer to make an appointment, you can visit the NJ Department of Health COVID-19 Hub for locations near you. https://www.covid19.nj.gov
